We stopped here for a quick lunch on the go after touring the Kastro. The lovely proprietor explained what everything was to us with a big smile. We took a piece of spinach and feta pie, zucchini and feta, a ham and cheese, and a raisin pastry for something sweet. Perfect. Great family bakery, great local experience.

Μόλις μπεις μέσα στον φούρνο, μυρίζει παράδοση!! Η κυρία Σοφία αν δεν κάνω λάθος, χαρούμενη, ευγενική και με όρεξη να σου εξηγήσει τα πάντα. Αξίζει να δοκιμάσεις το ψωμί με προζύμι και τα ιδιαίτερα λαλάγγια της.

As soon as you enter the bakery, you can smell tradition!! Mrs. Sofia, if I'm not mistaken, is happy, kind and eager to explain everything to you. It's worth trying the sourdough bread and her special lalangia.

Délicieuse boulangerie traditionnelle grecque. Il faut y goûter les gâteaux fourré à la confiture mais surtout les "pita" au fromage, à la saucisse où aux épinard... et mieux encore la "mavropita" une pita de pain noir à la féta, absolument délicieuse. La boulangerie ouvre tôt et ferme tard, en milieu de journée elle est fermée pour la sieste.

Delicious traditional Greek bakery. You must try the jam-filled cakes, but especially the cheese, sausage, or spinach pitas... and even better, the mavropita, a black bread pita with feta, absolutely delicious. The bakery opens early and closes late; in the middle of the day, it's closed for siesta.
